Consumer Care Plus Insurance Scheme
For your peace of mind we offer additional protection for our customers, in the form of ConsumerCare Plus. Our insurance protection is underwritten by HCC International Insurance Co Plc, a specialist UK authorised insurance company.
The insurance protects you against the following on Contracts with a Contract Price of up to £75,000 where the KBSA Member fails to carry out and complete the Installation due to Ceasing to Trade (except for small excesses which you will have to pay):
- Deposit Payment Cover up to 25% of the Contract Price where the deposit was paid up to 6 months prior to installation
- Advanced Payment Cover up to 75% of the Contract Price where the Advanced Payment was paid up to 14 days prior to installation (i.e. 100% of the Contract Price including 25% deposit)
- Completion Failure Cover up to 15% of Contract Price
- Warranty Cover for faulty workmanship up to 100% of Contract Price for a period of 6 years from completion of the Installation

This insurance cover is totally free of charge.
